| Cliffside Terrace is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath seaside
villa with a cantilevered pool and sundeck that overhangs the glittering
emerald waters of Chocolate Hole Bay. A private path (3-4 minute hike)
leads to excellent snorkeling, swimming and kayaking in the calm 82 degree
waters below you. Cliffside is located at the end of a private drive and
with only one neighbor it offers a peaceful and quiet romantic hideaway
where the silence is broken only by the sounds of waves gently lapping
the shore below you. Wall to wall screened windows and glass doors and
a wonderfully scenic location assure beautiful views from both the interior
and exterior. To the east, sailboats float peacefully on a sparkling turquoise
sea, while to the south St. Croix is often visible on the horizon. At
night the jacuzzi offers an intimate spot to gaze at the stars and watch
moon beams dance across the shimmering Caribbean, or take a 5 minute drive
and enjoy one of Cruz Bay's many excellent restaurants.
LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN. Walls of glass combine with cathedral ceilings, Caribbean artwork, tiled floors, floral wicker furniture and white walls to create a very cheerful and relaxing interior environment. A 30" cable color TV/VCR and stereo with AM/FM/cassette provide the electronic entertainment. You may dine overlooking the Harbor at the interior rattan table seating 6 or outside on the patio at the table for 4. The white tiled kitchen is modern and well equipped with a 4 burner gas stove and oven located in a center island, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster and all the necessary dinnerware and cookware. A telephone, washer/dryer and gas BBQ are included. |

BEDROOMS.The masterbedroom (king) has a view of the caribbean and is tastefully furnished with a newly renovated master bath. The guest bedroom has twin beds (2 twins that convert to a king) and a newly installed private bath with shower. Both bedrooms are cooled by ceiling fans and the beds have silk mosquito netting that creates a romantic effect as it waves in the gentle breezes.

| CARIBBEAN VILLAS' COMMENTS. Because the National Park includes offshore reefs and undersea life, St. John offers some of the finest snorkeling in the Caribbean, and Cliffside is a good choice for avid snorkelers (and kayakers). However, if you enjoy just reading, relaxing and "limin" in a quiet, comfortable villa in a wonderfully scenic location, you'll love this waterfront location. The intimate and thoroughly romantic character of Cliffside is perfect for honeymooners and lovers, but small families also greatly enjoy this villa. Cliffside was remodeled in 1998-99, and a delightful pool, sundeck and hottub were added, as well as a new kitchen. The end result is a cozy and unique villa that we think you'll really enjoy. |
